Hello, my name is Avery Madison! I am from St. Louis, Missouri. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Psychological & Brain Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis. I am currently pursuing my Master’s of Shakespearean Studies at King’s College London.

My love of reading and storytelling is a foundational part of who I am. I was the girl who always had a book in her hand during family gatherings, who checked out the most library books every year in middle school and high school, and who would routinely get in trouble for reading a book under her desk during math lessons. My first dream job was an author. For years, my stories have been just for myself, but I find that I grow the most when I invite others to read my work.
