New Year, New Blog!

“Schedule ain’t been loose for a minute”

Hi, again! I know that it has been such a long time since I have posted on here! In my defense, my senior year of my undergraduate degree has been a bit hectic to say the least! I would not trade this semester for the world, although that does mean that writing for my personal blog has taken the back seat these past couple of months. I have been researching and outlining for my Honors Thesis for the entire fall semester and I am so excited to keep writing it over the next couple of months. I will say that I have missed writing on here recently because this blog has always been my creative outlet. If I am being honest, 2025 was a bit of an unexpected year for me and there have been a lot of personal challenges as well. For the past couple of years, my focus has been on productivity and accomplishments. While I do not think that those goals will completely disappear in 2026, I do know that I need some time to take a much-needed break and to reevaluate what is important to me in life. I have set 2026 goals, although they only go until May 2026 (when I graduate) because my life will look VERY different come September 2026. I will not share them here yet because I want to try something new and keep my goals more private this year.

Looking Forward to 2026

Now, I will share one goal and that is to relaunch this blog and continue to write about the things that spark joy in my life! Because I will also be balancing writing for my blog here with writing my Honors Thesis this coming semester, I have decided that I will be posting once every two weeks, instead of every single week. They will still be posted on Fridays, usually around Noon (12:00 PM CST). So, the next time that you will hear from me is on Friday, January 16. So, thank you for your patience as I take some much needed time off to focus on my dream of writing an Honors Thesis. I know that today’s post is a bit short, but I look forward to sharing my much-longer pieces with you all this year! 2026 will bring so many exciting adventures and difficult challenges, but I am so excited for the year to come!
